STGCC: Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention 2013

Date: 31 August - 01 September 2013
Venue:  Marina Bay Sands
Organizer: Reed Exhibitions

Toys.. Games.. Comics.. Cosplay.. and more!
This year's hot feature is the life-size Hall of Armor from Iron Man 3!

STGCC is a world-class convention organised by ReedPOP, the Pop Culture Group at Reed Exhibitions, in collaboration with the creators of New York Comic Con (NYCC).  ReedPOP also runs the New York Comic Con (NYCC), Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2), New York Anime Festival, Star Wars Celebrations, UFC Fan Expos and PAX.

Here is where enthusiasts can immerse themselves in a world of toys, comics, merchandise and exhibits of all genre — from Action, Anime, Manga and Marvel to Gaming — a fusion of East and West all under one roof.

Cosplayers, a popular draw for photographers and fans, will once again congregate at this show.

Flying in for the event are special guests — Marvel's Cebulski and Cort Lane, Tales of Xillia's Hideo Baba, hot favourites cosplayers Aza and Vampy Bit Me, and many other international artists and guests.

Iron Man fans are in for a treat as Hot Toys has teamed up with ActionCity to bring to STGCC an exact replica of the Hall of Armor from Tony Stark's Malibu mansion.

STGCC 2013 is the 6th edition since the show started in 2008.

This show sees significant increase in:-
Show attendance — close to 40,000 visitors, up from 35,000 last year.
Exhibitor number — a rise of 40%.
STGCC exclusives and product launches — 20% rise in the count.

"The year-on-year growth of the show has affirmed the direction that we’ve been steering the show towards. This is how we’ve always envisioned our pop culture show to be – international content for a regional audience, right here in Singapore,” said Ms Yeow Hui Leng, Senior Project Director of STGCC.
